Boée - A lively, intuitive platform focussed on mutual aid
This project offers an inclusive platform to promote disability referents, often marginalised within organisations.
In response to the underestimation of their role, especially in the context of the OETH, we have designed a collaborative ecosystem that amplifies their visibility, strengthens their legitimacy and places the human at the heart of organisational dynamics.

" My referent does what he can, but he has neither the time nor the tools to really accompany me. "
Jean, 36 years old with an employee disability
1. Research 👀
The inclusion of people with disabilities in business remains a major challenge, despite a growing commitment. In 2023-2024, the OETH trained 300 out of 2,900 people, or only 10.3% of the workforce.
This figure, although positive, highlights the limited scope of current initiatives and the need to improve access to inclusion for all employees.
Léo, 38 years old - Disabled employee
What causes Léo a problem are the complex approaches and lack of recognition. The support path is discontinuous according to the companies
"In my old box, I had a real follow-up. Here, I have to manage on my own"
Ben, 45 ans - HR disability referent
Well, he lacks resources and a sense of isolation. He makes himself feel a need for a community of practice
"My referent is voluntary, but he has neither the time nor the tools"

🎯 Objective :
Transform disability support in companies by creating a community of mutual aid between disability referents and employees, to move from an isolating bureaucratic system to a human and collaborative network.
2. Usage scenarios
This platform operates according to two main self-help pathways. The "Research" path allows users to search for existing solutions, consult similar projects and contact other referents to benefit from their experience. The "Mutual Aid" course offers the opportunity to launch an SOS to get immediate help from the community, and then receive personalised advice. The two paths converge towards "opinion-sharing", thus creating a collaborative ecosystem where each interaction enriches the collective knowledge base and strengthens the links between community members.
3. Prototyping
The initial idea was to create a platform inspired by social networks, with profiles highlighting projects, subscribers and views. The objective was to emphasise the commitment of disability referents and to promote connections. However, after iterations, it became clear that a more targeted and simplified approach was needed to better meet the needs of users.
At that time, the idea of diversifying content through a podcast emerged, aiming to humanise and make the experience more accessible and engaging with formats such as podcast, photo and text.
The second step aimed to enhance the content shared by OETH referents and employees, by creating a personalised universe for each profile. The idea was to organise the content (podcast, photo, text) via fun grids, to make the experience more interactive. However, this approach was abandoned because it complicated use and did not respond effectively to the problem of simplicity and accessibility.
The latest version has introduced several evolutions: disability categories (visual, auditory, motorised, etc.) to filter projects, an Airbnb-type search bar to easily refine requests, and a "lifebuoy" allowing disability referents to publish ads according to their profile and needs. The gray carrousel at the bottom of the search bar marks the beginning of this feature, highlighting unresolved queries from referrers.
4. Final model 💻
A. Home page and Research
The home page is simple. It has a navigation bar with Creation, Messages, Profile and Settings. A large search bar helps to quickly find projects and solutions for disability. Below, the latest requests from disability referents are displayed, showing their specific needs.
On the search page, a carrousel shows recent projects. Then, a project gallery presents each project with a short description, the type of disability concerned and an image. Each project also indicates its estimated cost, which helps the referents to plan better.
B. Project page
When the user clicks on a project, he sees a detailed page. There is an image of the project, its estimated cost and the support by OETH. The key people (disability referent and provider, if necessary) are clearly indicated. They can be contacted directly.
This page also has a testimonials section. People with disabilities share their experience, what they think of the project and how it has improved their lives. This makes the content more human and touching.
C. Propose a problem or a solution
If a user cannot find a project or if his request is very specific, he can propose a problem or share a solution that he has found but is not yet on the platform. This feature makes the platform more social and collaborative, allowing users to actively participate in the community.
The process is simple: the user describes his problem, gives context and explains the situation well. Once sent, the notice is visible in the carrousel on the home page. Other users can then comment, give their opinion or propose solutions. This interaction creates a self-help dynamic where everyone can help or share their experience to improve the lives of others.

In summary: The user searches for projects on the reception, sees the details and can contact people. If he can't find anything, he can share a problem or a solution for the community.
Bonus: communication ++
Through strong visual communication, OETH reminds us that it is never too late to act and that being well surrounded makes all the difference.
The "Boée" logo uses a soft purple (#7966B0), a soothing colour that evokes kindness and support. The rounded and accessible Apfel Grotezk typography reinforces this idea of proximity. The stylised "O" in the shape of a buoy visually illustrates the mission of the device: to support and accompany.
